"The cloudy and chilly weather was witnessed for the past two days (yesterday and today) across Bihar as a result of western disturbances. The state may also witness foggy/misty early morning tomorrow in its major cities," MeT official said.
The MeT office also forecast that another spell of cloudy and chilly weather conditions might prevail in Bihar for two days on Saturday and Sunday due to another round of western disturbance.
As per the MeT bulletin, among major cities Patna recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 8.7 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 11.5 degrees Celsius.
Among four major cities, Gaya recorded the highest maximum temperature at 23.6 degrees Celsius while Purnea and Bhagalpur recorded 22.1 and 21.6 degrees Celsius respectively, MeT office said.
The minimum temperature at Purnea, Bhagalpur and Gaya was recorded at 8.8, 10.8 and 12.2 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius in Supaul in Bihar, MeT office said.
