The share of agriculture and allied services in Mizoram's economy was projected to increase to 26.28 per cent as against 17.66 per cent during 2011-12, according to the Economic Survey Mizoram 2017-18.
The survey was today laid on the table of the state legislature by Finance Minister Lalsawta.
The manufacturing and industry sector's share has been gradually rising and is projected at 26.58 per cent in 2016-17, it said.
However, the services sector has witnessed a gradual decline from as high a share as 59.43 per cent in 2011-12 to 47.68 per cent at constant (2011-12) price in 2015-16.
It was estimated at 47.14 per cent in 2016-17, the survey said.
The Economic Survey also said that the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has clocked 12 per cent average annual growth rate during the 2012-13 to 2016-17 fiscals.
Mizoram's per capita income for the financial year 2016-17 was projected at Rs 1,25,107 as against the estimated national per capita income for the same period at Rs 1,03,219, it added.
