Agribusiness innovators and budding entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to present their ideas/ prototypes for individual advice, Hyderabad-headquartered ICRISAT said in a statement.
Whether a farmer with an idea, a businessperson or a student - anyone can bring their ideas for helping scaling-up.
The camp is oriented around three themes: agri- technology, agri-engineering and food processing.
ICRISAT said the aim is to identify and invest in innovative, early-stage start-ups that have the potential to become scalable and competitive food and agribusiness ventures.
As part of the ICRISAT-ABI programme, incubation support would be offered to selected entrepreneurs with innovative ideas, he said.
The camp is an initiative of the ICRISAT-ABI programme of the Agribusiness & Innovation Platform, which aims to enhance public-private partnerships as a model for fostering agribusinesses to bring research for development innovations of ICRISAT and its partners to the market for faster and wider impact, the statement added.
