AIADMK councillor hacked to death

An AIADMK councillor of Tuticorin Corporation was hacked to death in his office at by some unidentified gang today, police said.
The gang members, who had come in a two wheeler, hacked the councillor Vellaipandi (55) and fled the scene. He was rushed to government hospital but died on the way, police said.
