While hearing Chautala's interim bail plea on medical grounds, Justice Siddharth Mridul asked the All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) Director to set up the medical board and sought its report after examining all records pertaining to his treatment in various hospitals.
The court in its order also clarified that if necessary the board would examine Chautala.
The order came after the Tihar jail authority furnished the documents of various hospitals, including G B Pant and Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospitals, to the court.
Ajay Chautala and his father, INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala, 78, were sentenced to a ten-year jail term on January 22 by a CBI court which had held them guilty of cheating and corruption in illegal recruitment of 3,206 junior basic trained (JBT) teachers.
