Members of the Faculty Association of AIIMS, Students Union and Society of Young Scientists will also join the march.
"There have been instances of doctors being man-handled by the kins of patients in the past which is highly condemnable. We will hold a candle march today at 6.30 PM to express solidarity with the doctors in strike and also to protest the high-handedness of city police and administration on the junior doctors," said RDA general secretary, Dr Shashank Pooniya.
Meanwhile Indian Medical Association (IMA) today described the incident as a "highly condemnable and shameful act".
They have submitted a letter in this regard to the President demanding the immediate release of the 24 under graduate medical students unconditionally.

"We demand immediate revocation of all charges against the arrested medical students and that Irfan Solanki should immediately be arrested and SSP Yashashvi Yadav should immediately be suspended from duty and FIR should be lodged.
IMA has also received a complaint from the Students of GSVM Medical College of Kanpur informing about the brutal attack by the Samajwadi Party MLA, Irfan Solanki and his supporters on February 28.
"Despite complaint given to police on the incident, they did not take proper action and manhandled and mistreated the complainants and students.
"Mob blocked the emergency and compelled the authority of the College not to treat the injured and gun-shot patients", said Saini.
Several government hospitals in Uttar Pradesh have also joined the agitation.
