Nineteen police officials are undergoing the training at the IRTE that began on June 4 and is expected to be over by June 22.
"Officials in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and Inspector have come for the training. They will undergo training on accident investigations, traffic control and traffic engineering at the IRTE. Training on post-accident management, which is trauma care and handling of accident victims, will be managed by the AIIMS Trauma Centre," Dr Rohit Baluja, president of the Institute of Road Traffic Education, said.
