"A tough reply should be given to Pakistan for carrying out terror activities," Jaleel, who represents, Central Aurangabad, in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, said last night at a rally here.
Targeting the Congress-NCP for "neglecting" the problems of the minority community, Jaleel said Congress is trying to woo Muslims in view of the local bodies polls.
Congress-NCP ruled Maharashtra for 15 years between 1999-2014.
The legislator also hit out at NCP supremo Sharad Pawar over his accusation that the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) was terrorising Muslim youths on mere suspicion of being associated with outfits like ISIS.
Jaleel also condemned the gang-rape of a minor girl in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.
"During the last nine months, 107 rapes against Dalit women were reported in Maharashtra," the MLA claimed.
