The decision came after Supreme Court directed re-conduct of the test following allegations of large-scale irregularities in the examination held on May 3. Nearly 6.3 lakh candidates had registered for AIPMT, 2015.
"In compliance with the Supreme Court order on June 15 and June 19, CBSE has decided to re-conduct the All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test 2015 on July 25 (Saturday)," CBSE, which conducts the examination, said in a statement.
"No fresh applications will be accepted for this examination and it will be a retest only in respect of the candidates who had applied within the stipulated time from December 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015 with requisite fee," it stated.
The details and updates will also be hosted on website www.Aipmt.Nic.In.
