It would be "thrice a week Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner service" and would commence from July 1, 2017, the airline said.
"The new flights to Mumbai will compliment the four time non-stop direct weekly service between Delhi and Toronto, which will become a daily service on November 6, 2016 as also the introduction of a seasonal thrice a week service between Delhi and Vancouver on October 20, 2016," it said.
Benjamin Smith, President (Passenger Airlines) at Air Canada said Toronto-Mumbai is the third route between Canada and India. With these new services we will now operate 20 routes between Canada and Asia, including the Middle East, he added.
