The air forces of China and Pakistan concluded military drills in northwest China on Saturday.
The fortnight-long joint training, code-named "Shaheen (eagle) VIII," is the eighth such exercise between the two countries after its launch in March 2011.
The annual joint training aims to improve training standards of the two air forces through mutual learning, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Over 50 aircraft from both sides participated in the drill, which was held in simulated battle conditions.
The Chinese and Pakistani militaries share close ties. China is the biggest arms supplier to Pakistan, including aircraft, battle tanks and naval ships.
