"I received an email from the Delhi head office intimating that due to some technical reasons Air India flight services between Delhi and Kanpur have been suspended for two weeks after which the services will be resumed," Air India Manager, Kanpur Airport, B S Negi told PTI.
It is quite common to suspend flight services for maintenance work, Negi said.
Air India started its Delhi-Kanpur flights in September 2007.
In the beginning, the service was provided six days a week but later it was scaled down to twice a week and the plane was also changed from being a 72-seater to 48-seater.
