The mobile app, launched by airline CMD Rohit Nandan, would be initially available on the Android platform but would soon be extended to the iOS as well, a statement said.
It would allow the user to book tickets, manage bookings, check-in for a flight, look up fare details and make special requests for meals and wheelchair.
While launching the app, Nandan said it would "provide the user the ease of booking and check-in with a safe and secure tool", besides helping Air India in reducing costs.
