Air India special offer 'Get Upfront'

National carrier Air India's economy class passengers can now enjoy the luxury and comfort of executive cabin while the executive class customers can get upgrade to the first class by paying a few extra bucks.
The special offer, 'Get Upfront' from the full service carrier, rolled out today, covers 45 domestic routes besides key international markets such as the US, Europe, Middle East and Far East and can be availed till March next year, according to a release.
Under the 'Get Upfront Offer' a passenger can opt for an upgrade to a higher class of travel, for a nominal amount, it said adding both domestic and international travellers can enjoy the luxury of the first and executive class.
The options are from economy to business class as also business to first Class and based on the aircraft configuration.
According to the airline, for a distance of up to 750 km,an economy class passengers flying on domestic route can get upgrade to the two higher classes by paying just Rs 5,500 (excluding service tax), the release said.
Similarly, for distances beyond 750 km a domestic passenger will be charged only Rs 7,500 (excluding service tax) if seeking an upgrade, it said.
The scheme is available across 45 domestic stations including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai till March 31, 2016.
The upgrade offer to international destinations is available to US, Europe, Middle East, Far East, SAARC and Australia.
