The Channel, known as 'RAAGAM', is in public domain round the clock with Mobile App i.E. 'All India Radio Live' available in Android I OS and Windows from 6 PM from January 26.
The Channel will be beamed through one of Digital Terrestrial Channel -DTT of Doordarshan, which means thereby it will also be Digital Terrestrial Channel with an aerial radius of 70 KMs in Bengaluru, public service broadcaster Prasar Bharati said in a release here.
The channel will also have programmes on classical music with interpretation and elucidation by musicologists of repute, the release said, adding, "RAAGAM" will create its own software bank to sustain itself.

Last year, the ministry had barred channels from airing live coverage of anti-terrorist operations by security forces by approving a new rule as per which broadcasters in such situations will have to restrict themselves to reporting periodic briefing by designated officers.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had earlier asked the I&B Ministry to ensure that security operations are not covered live by the media.
While delivering the first Justice J S Verma Memorial Lecture last year, I&B Minister Arun Jaitley had said there had been reports that real time coverage of 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai had helped the handlers of terrorists to get information about what the security agencies were doing.
