Since its inception, it has connected Bengaluru to the four cities of Hubli, Trivandrum, Madurai, Kadapa and flying over 30,000 passengers with an ontime performance rate of 94 per cent (99 per cent in June), the company said in a release.
"To serve the increasing number of sectors, we intend to lease in three more aircrafts (ATR aircrafts with 66 seats) in the next six months, taking our fleet size to five," Air Pegasus Managing Director Shyson Thomas said.
"Apart from being a lean and mean model airline, we have been also been able to attract aircraft at an attractive lease rate and hence have been able to pass on the benefit to our passengers," he said.
Based out of the Kempegowda International Airport here, Air Pegasus had earlier said that it will scale up services gradually to connect Kochi, Chennai, Belgaum, Rajahmundry and Puducherry and several more cities in the region.
Decor Aviation, which owns and operates Air Pegasus, is part of the Decor Group of Companies providing ground handling services to Indian and foreign carriers across 11 airports in India.
