Airtel launches mobile internet packs with unlimited validity

Country's largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel today announced launch of special mobile internet schemes, which will allow its prepaid customers to enjoy data without worrying about validity of their plans.
"Today, we are proud to launch India's first unrestricted validity data plans - which give our prepaid customers the flexibility to enjoy mobile internet services without worrying about any validity restrictions," Bharti Airtel Director, Market Operations Ajai Puri said in a statement.
This scheme at the moment has six plans-- three each in Delhi and Mumbai, with small data quanity.

NoBroker.Com raises USD 10 mn from BeeNext, Digital Garage * NoBroker.Com today said it has raised USD 10 million in Series B funding from BeeNext and Digital Garage.
The current round also saw participation from other investors namely BEENOS, Qualgro and Mamoru Taniya of Asuka holdings as well as existing investor, SAIF Partners.
Zeta eases retail payment further with NFC-enabled Super Tag
* Fin-tech start up firm Zeta has introduced near field communication (NFC) based payment solution to help users make payments at cash counters at ease.
With the help of 'Zeta Super Tag'-- a small NFC-enabled tag -- the Zeta meal vouchers account could be synced in a few seconds to make payments, the company said in a release.
To make a payment, the user will have to tap the 'Super Tag' on a NFC reading device at the cash counter and the money will be automatically deducted from his Zeta account.
"The Super Tag makes the payments experience easier and saves the user's time as well," Zeta Co-Founder and CEO Bhavin Turakhia said. The tag can even be stuck on to practically anything like phone, super card or just about anything, Zeta said.

UTI AMC hires Vetri Subramaniam as Group President,equity Head * UTI Asset Management Company (UTI AMC) has appointed Vetri Subramaniam as the Group President and Head-Equity.
He will be in-charge of fund management of the equity schemes of UTI AMC aggregating to approximately Rs 38,000 crore, the company said in a statement.
Subramaniam associated with fund management and Research over two decades, is an MBA from IIM, Bangalore.
He is currently serving with Invesco Asset Management as the Chief Investment Officer. Previously, he also worked with companies like Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, Motilal Oswal Securities.
"Vetri with his vast experience in Fund Management and Research will help us to significantly strengthen our existing capabilities in Fund Management and Research," Leo Puri, Managing Director, UTI AMC said.

Snapdeal starts next day delivery service in 104 cities * E-commerce firm Snapdeal today announced its 'next day delivery service' across 104 cities for over five million products.
The "next day delivery is a key preference driver for our consumers and through the over five million stocked products across our nationwide network, we can now provide next day delivery in 104 cities," Snapdeal Chief Customer Experience Officer Jayant Sood said in a statement.
The five million products that Snapdeal claims to cover under next day delivery are stocked within its around69 Snapdeal Plus Centres spread over 25 cities across India.
In July 2016, Snapdeal opened six new mega logistics hubs in NCR Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Kolkata to store stocks closer to the large consumption centres in the country.
