AITUC wants disbursement of wages to mill workers in cash

AITUC today urged managements of textile mills to disburse the monthly wages to workers in cash instead of crediting in bank accounts as there was difficulty in withdrawing cash.
A resolution adopted at an executive meeting of the AITUC's local unit said serious hardships had been caused to all sections of people, particularly workers, following the demonetisation of high value currencies.
This was stated in a release by Secretary of the unit V S Abishegam.
