Aiyar's resignation from Zonal Cultural Centres accepted

Government has accepted the resignation of Rajya Sabha MP Mani Shankar Aiyar as Chairman of the Coordination Committee of Zonal Cultural Centres (CCZCC).
Aiyar has resigned on May 17, 2014, and the government has decided to wind up CCZZZ with effect from December 16 last year, according to a Culture Ministry release.
In an order dated February 23, 2015, the Ministry of Culture said it has accepted Aiyar's resignation.
