In the 29th minute, Aizawl defender K Lalrintluanga made the scoreline 2-1, converting a measured crosspiece.
Aizawl reground and dominated the proceedings after the resumption of play.
Mid-fielder Johny Lalfakzuala increased the margin (3-1) for the Aizawl side eight minutes into the second half while Lalrintluanga scored his second in the 65th mintue.
Striker Francis Zonuntlunga sealed the fate in favour of Aizawl (5-1) netting a goal in the 87th minute.
Earlier, Aizawl FC had suffered a 1-6 loss against Kolkata outfit Md Sporting in the opener of the qualifying round on Tuesday.
