Ajit, who was ailing for long, breathed his last yesterday, family sources said today.
"He was unwell for past few months. He was earlier admitted to Breach Candy hospital for a month or so. Later, he was brought to Sunridges hospital in Juhu. He was there for two days. He was not responding to the treatment hence he was brought home. He passed away yesterday at around 6 pm at his residence in Juhu," the sources told PTI.
Ajit Singh, in his 70s, was a well-known actor in Punjabi films and is known for Hindi movies like "Khhotte Sikkay" (1974), "Meharbaani" (1982) and Bobby Deol's debut "Barsaat" (1995).
