"It hardly matters whether we (AJSU Party) are satisfied with the performance of the state government but people's satisfaction is more important as they voted the government to power," the former Deputy Chief Minister told a press conference here today.
To a query about the recent report published in Hindi daily that AJSU Party MLAs were not satisfied with the government and had served ultimatum to pull out of the government, Mahato denied it, stating that it was the creation of the media.
Mahato, who was in the steel city to take part in Kolhan Divison meeting of Party's student wing here, said the party was gathering feedback from the people about government's performance to ensure that their aspiration are fulfilled.
The AJSU Party President, however, admitted that there could be a difference between regional party and the national party on issues.
As a regional party, if a issue was important for us, it did not mean the same for the national party like BJP, he clarified adding that his party has been raising issues in the interest of the state.
