Addressing a function on the occasion of 'Smriti Diwas', Yadav said that strengthening police system was the priority of the state government.
"Crime pattern is changing, accordingly police should change rapidly and has to be trained in checking crime and new techniques of investigation," the chief minister said.
Yadav said that there was a need to organise special training programme during service as well and asked the Principal Secretary (Home) and DGP to chalk out an action.
Yadav also announced to increase Rs 200 in meal allowance and CUG sim cards to all sub-inspectors.
