Akhilesh Yadav invites Malaysian entrepreneurs to invest in UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today invited entrepreneurs from Malaysia to invest in the state, promising them all king of facilities.
During a meeting with a high level delegation from Malaysia which called on him here, the Chief Minister said that doors of industries and investments were open and state government would extend all facilities to entrepreneurs to set up their units here.
The Malaysian delegation was led by their special envoy for investments in India and South Asian countries with minister rank Datuk Seri Utama Samy Vellu, who also invited the chief minister to his country.
Welcoming the delegation, Akhilesh Yadav said that both India and Malaysia have been contributing in each others economic field for which a pact was also signed in 2011 and hoped that they would also help in the economic development of the state.
Giving an account of the works undertaken by the government for the economic and infrastructural development, he said that there were great possibilities in the agriculture, food processing, IT,electronic goods, power and tourism sectors as well.
Highlighting steps taken for attracting investors, he said there was also ample availability of expert and trained workforce in the state.
Extending support, Vellu said in his visit he has seen atmosphere of development and there was ample scope for cooperation. Citing the example of a highway which connects north end of Malaysia to south speeding up its development, he hoped that Agra-Lucknow greenfield expressway would also be helpful in the similar fashion here.
The delegation showed interest in metro rail project, trans ganga project, medical hub in Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway authority among others.
