Al Pacino makes his return to Broadway

Veteran Hollywood star Al Pacino is heading back to Broadway with David Mamet's play 'China Doll'.
It is their latest collaboration after they teamed up for the successful revival of Mamet's Pulitzer prize-winning play 'Glengarry Glen Ross' in 2012, reported the New York Times.
Pam MacKinnon, who won a Tony award for his revival of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?', will direct 'China Doll'.
Mamet said he wrote his latest play for 'The Godfather' star, who also starred in a 1992 film version of 'Glengarry' and a 1983 Broadway production of Mamet's 'American Buffalo'.
'China Doll' is a two-character play about a billionaire, Mickey Ross, who has just bought a new airplane for his young fiancee as he prepares to go into semiretirement. The other character is of Carson, Ross's assistant.
