Code breaker Alan Turing's notebook, featuring notes about mathematics and computer science, is all set to go under hammers and expected to fetch more than USD 1 million.
The 56-page manuscript has hand-written thoughts, from the period during which he was trying to break the famed Enigma Code. It has never been seen in public and dates back to 1942.
The auction, scheduled for April 13 in New York, comes months after the release of 'The Imitation Game' -- a biopic of Turing that revived interest in his life among the general public, reported The Washington Post.
Benedict Cumberbatch portrays Turing in the Oscar-nominated biopic.
Turing was a British mathematician who cracked Germany's wartime communications code, bringing an early end to World War II.
