The 36-year-old cage fighter's relationship is in a crisis in the wake of blazing rows with Houghton over her interfering friends, reported Sun online.
The relationship started to crumble last month after Houghton, 28, spoke about how he had exchanged messages with a teenage model.
"I have told Chantelle I am not marrying her when things are like this. Friends keep pushing her to say things about us that aren't true and keep poking their noses into our lives no matter how much it hurts me," Reid said to a friend.
