The 31-year-old Grammy winner's latest project hits US stores on November 27 and Keys says her fans are in for a treat as her two-year-old son with producer husband Swizz Beatz is featured on a few of the tracks, reported Daily Star.
"I got him on one of these mics and he stood on the little chair... And I just started asking him different questions... You'll hear it on the record, it's so cute.
"I asked him to say, 'Mommy,' so then he says, 'Mommy,' and then I asked him to say, 'I love you,' so he says, 'I love you.'... His daddy is really known for this particular thing he always shouts out when he's about to perform, he says, 'It's showtime.' So I said, 'What's your name?' he said, 'Showtime.' I said, 'But what's your name?' and he said, 'Egypt.' So it was perfect, he did amazing," she said.
Egypt is not the first celebrity tot to make their vocal debut at such a young age. Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy featured on her dad Jay-Z's track 'Glory' earlier this year.
