All households will have toilets by Oct next year

The households lacking toilets would have the facility by October next year.
Talking to reporters here Agriculture and Education Minister R Kamalakannan said that the government had identified that 45,403 households were lacking toilets in the whole Union Territory.
Rs 20,000 would be provided as subsidy to construct the toilets.
He said that the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in association with Local Administration Department and voluntary agencies were facilitating the construction of the toilets.
