Twelve teams, including last year's champions Bangalore District Football Association (Karnataka), ONGC (Mumbai), Army XI (Kolkata), Nagpur Football Club (Nagpur) and Tata Football Academy (Jamshedpur) will vie for honours at the tournament at Moinul Haq Stadium here.
President of the organising committee, state Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shyam Rajak said the matches will be played in the league-cum-knockout format under the aegis of Patliputra Art Culture and Sports Foundation.
The tournament, which will start on March 15, will continue for 14 days.
The winner of the cup will take a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while the runners-up will be given Rs 50,000. The teams reaching the semi-final of the tournament will get Rs 25,000 each, Rajak said.
