Hindu Janajagruti Samiti would hold its fifth all India Hindu conclave at Goa from June 19 to 25 during which issues like Ram temple and cow slaughter ban are likely to be deliberated upon.
The meet was aimed at positioning Hindus to establish a "Hindu Rashtra", Samiti's Karnataka coordinator Guruprasad said
At a press conference here today.
More than 415 representatives from all over the country and delegates from neighbouring countries like Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh would participate in the conclave, he said.
On the performance of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, Guruprasad said despite the "Hindutva forces getting power", many demands of Hindus had not "materialised".
There had been no progress in the work on Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The demand for ban on cow slaughter had not been met and the issues of Kashmiri pandits remained unresolved, he added.
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, along with other Hindu organisations, would continue its fight for the creation of a "Hindu Rashtra," Guruprasad added.
