Shakeel was arrested outside Kanpur central railway station by a team of STF sleuths and 11 kg pangolin scale was recovered from his possession, official sources said here.
During interrogation Shakeel admitted that he was in contact with poachers in Itarsi and Baitul, sources said.
The STF said that the price of recovered pangolin scale was around 2,000 to 2,500 dollar in the international market.
