Alleged serial sex criminal arrested at suburban Khar

A 32-year-old man, who allegedly sexually assaulted 13 minors in Mumbai's western suburbs since April last year, was arrested today police said.
The one-eyed paedophile, identified as Ayaz Mohammed Ansari, was arrested from near a school in suburban Khar today, Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria said.
His last victim was a 13-year-old girl, who was allegedly assaulted while she was on her way home from school in suburban Sion on April 7.
His act was caught on a closed circuit television camera and a sketch was drawn, which was used by several teams to hunt him down.
Cops had patrolled parks, schools and playgrounds to nab the man who sexually assaulted 13 minors in the past few months.

Cases were registered against him in Juhu, Santacruz, DN Nagar, Amboli, Versova, Sion, Vakola, RAK Marg, and Antop Hill areas.
The total number of FIRs registered against him are 13, the police said.
