The idea of entering into an alliance with either of the two parties would be a betrayal of the popular mandate sweeping Delhi at the moment, AAP said.
"AAP wishes to make it absolutely clear that it shall neither seek support from nor extend support to Congress or BJP. AAP has entered the electoral fray in order to clean politics of its known vices," the party said in a statement.
"The idea of entering into an alliance with either Congress or BJP would be a betrayal of the popular mandate that is sweeping Delhi," it said.
In an interview to a news channel, Dikshit had appeared not to rule out the possibility of an alliance with AAP in case no party managed to secure a majority in the Delhi polls.

"Won't comment on alliance with AAP. I don't rule it out, I don't rule it in," Dikshit had said.
"A popular wave in favour of AAP is sweeping through Delhi. This historic and decisive mandate shall put to rest any speculation about a hung Assembly and coalition politics," the AAP statement added.
