"The government should permit access to tourists in the buffer zone in wildlife protected areas to promote tourism," Satpal Maharaj (Cong) said during the Zero Hour.

He said that after the Supreme Court's directions, tourists do not have access to these areas due to which they are going to certain places in Nepal to spend their holidays.

Maharaj said the government should strictly prohibit entry of tourists in core areas, but buffer zones should be kept open for tourists.

Nishikant Dubey (BJP) demanded a Rs 1,000 crore-package for the 10 drought hit districts of Jharkhand.
