Almond, its kernel up on retailers demand

Almond prices rose by Rs 50 per 40 kg at the dry fruits market today on scattered demand from retailers.
However, other dry fruits held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said mild demand from retailers led to the rise in almond and its kernel prices.
In the national capital, almond (California) edged up by Rs 50 to Rs 18,350 per 40 kg.Its kernel followed suit and traded higher by Rs 2 to Rs 652-662 per kg.

Almond (California) Rs 18,350, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 9,800-10,000, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,600-7,000; Abjosh Afghani Rs 7,000-19,500.
