Marketmen said increased demand from retailers and stockists against restricted arrivals from overseas markets mainly attributed the rise in almond and its kernel prices at the wholesale dryfruit market.
Almond (California) rose by Rs 200 to Rs 17,200-17,400 per 40 kg. Its kernel also edged up by Rs 10 to Rs 625-630 per kg, respectively.
