Almond (California) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 17,900-18,100 per 40 kg. Its kernel prices also went up by Rs 5 to settle at Rs 645-655 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said rising demand from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly attributed the rise in almond and its kernel prices at the wholesale dryfruit market.
