Almond slides on muted demand

In restricted activity, almond prices fell by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today owing to slackened demand.
However, other dry fruits moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly weighed on almond prices.
Almond (california) declined by Rs 100 to Rs 16,200- 16,600 per 40 kg. Its kernel also traded lower by Rs 5 to Rs 585-595 per kg.

Almond (California) Rs 16,200-16,600, Almond(Gurbandi- new) Rs 12,200-12,300, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,600-5,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-23,000.
