At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June month edged higher by 45 paise, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 121.75 per kg in business turnover of 2,598 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in July was trading higher by 35 paise, or 0.29 per cent to 122.10 per kg in 738 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders on the back of uptick in demand from consuming industries in the physical market supported aluminium prices in futures trade.
