Aluminium prices declined 0.20 per cent to Rs 149.10 per kg in futures market today as speculators reduced their exposure amid easing spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June eased by 30 paise, or 0.20 per cent to Rs 149.10 per kg in business turnover of 132 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in July weakened by 15 paise, or 0.10 per cent to Rs 148.60 per kg in 121 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on aluminium prices at futures trade.
