Rakbar Khan, who was allegedly lynched to death on the suspicion of cow smuggling in Rajasthan's Alwar district, died of shock caused by his injuries, the post-mortem report has said.
On Saturday, Rakbar and his friend Aslam were taking cows to their villages in Haryana through a forest area in Alwar's Ramgarh, where they were caught by a group of people. While Aslam managed to flee, Rakbar was allegedly thrashed brutally by the group.
A three-member medical board which conducted the post-mortem said, "The cause of death in this case is shock as a result of injuries sustained over body."
