Raj's 65 was the best card of the day and it put him at seven-under 203.
Three players from Category A were one shot behind in second place at six-under 204. They included second round leader, Abhishek Kuhar (70) and he shared the spot with Shivnaren Srinivasan (67) and Shubhankar Sharma (67).
There were two other players from Category B, who were also at six-under 204. Piyush Sangwan (69) shared the lead in Category B with Prakhar Asawa (70). Mohan Sardar (71) was two behind them at four-under 206.
As many as eight players in Category A and four in Category B were under par.
The 6,000-yard Clover Greens, one of the best courses in Southern India, has three par-5s, five par three holes and ten par-4s holes for a total of par 70.
