Troubled actress Amanda Bynes, who is looking forward to a career as a rapper, has been offered a deal for hip-hop album by a record label.
Music producer Daniel Herman of Chinga Chang Records said that he is willing to give the former Nickelodeon star a shot, reported the New York Post.
"I cleared the project with The Orchard and Sony Entertainment and they gave me the green light to go ahead," said Herman, who claims to have reached out to Bynes' attorneys to get the contract signed.
Asked why he is interested in the 27-year-old actress, the label owner said, "I think that she's more gangster than Drake. The fact that Amanda wants to do hip-hop music means that Chinga Chang label is the best place for her to do this, because of my past experience with bringing pop and legitimate hip-hop together."
Bynes was arrested last month when she allegedly threw a marijuana bong outside her 36th-floor window of her New York City apartment.
