Troubled actress Amanda Bynes' alleged bong-throwing charges will reportedly be dropped if she continues counselling for the next six months.
The 27-year-old former Nickelodeon star was arrested after she allegedly threw a bong out of her midtown apartment window in May last year, when police showed up following a call from an employee of the building, reported New York Daily News.
If the actress sees a counsellor twice a week for the next six months, the charges against her would be dismissed.
The actress said, she will be undergoing counselling.
"I understand that after a period of six months has expired, if I have complied with the conditions set forth below the charges will be dismissed," read an affidavit dated December 19.
"This is an important step in her rehabilitation. I am optimistic about her future and pleased with the result," said her lawyer Gerald Shargel.

Bynes has time until January 30 to alert the court that she complies the orders.
The 'She's the man' star was apparently booked for charges of reckless endangerment for throwing the bong out of the window, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marijuana.
The case was delayed because she underwent treatment for mental illness. She finished her treatment in December.
