It had signed an MoU with the KarnatakaBiotechnology and Information Technology Services (KBITS) in this regard, the company said in a release here.
As per the MoU, Amazon will work with the state agency to educate, train and enableselect start-ups to sell their products to its customersacross the country under its Launchpad program, the company said in a release.
Amazon Launchpad is the company's flagship programme dedicated to promote innovative products backed by technological excellence.
As part of this alliance, Amazon Launchpadas a 'Booster Kit Service Provider', shall provide a dedicated storefront on "https://bsmedia.business-standard.comwww.Amazon.In" and other services to all the shortlisted product start-ups including periodic support and services in improving their presence on the marketplace.

This would help them leverageAmazon's e-commerce expertise to help deliver theirproducts to customers, it added.
"This initiative will help the start-ups in showcasing their product which will be available to the massive Amazon customer base across the country.
"We expect Amazon's Launchpad program to greatly boost the morale of young entrepreneurs and make them successful," state IT Minister Priyank Kharge said.
Through this programme, individual entrepreneurs, innovators and creators from across Karnataka can leverage theAmazon marketplace to increase the scale of their business andeven get easy access to global markets, Amazon India Vice-President, Category Management Manish Tiwary said.
