Ambardi lion safari park is an option to Sasan: Official

The lion safari park coming up at Ambardi village in Dhari tehsil of Amreli district will emerge as a tourist option to Sasan and Devaliya park in the state, a senior official has said.
"More than four lakh tourists from various parts of the country and abroad visit Sasan Gir and Devaliya park every year. The new zone at Ambardi will come as a boon for tourists who are on a visit to Diu and want to catch glimpse of the majestic lions," J N Singh, state chief secretary told PTI.
The Union Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change has given its final nod to the second lion interpretation zone in the state at Ambardi in Dhari tehsil yesterday, Singh said.

This zone at Ambardi will be housing six to eight zoo-bred lions.
