The "matchless vision" of B R Ambedkar in making the Constitution has made the country strong to remain united and overcome any challenge that may crop up in the long run, Justice Bhushan Gavai has said.
Gavai, Jugde of the Bombay High Court's Nagpur bench, yesterday highlighted the "matchless vision" of Ambedkar, saying he shaped the Indian Constitution in which besides the Fundamental Rights the directive principles were incorporated aiming to meet all the possible challenges that may crop up in the future.
"India is known for its diversity. But the underlying and leading spirit of Indian culture and ethos is its unity," he said at a function organised to mark 125th birth anniversary of Ambedkar.
According to Gavai, son for former Bihar and Kerala Governor R S Gavai, the country is making quick stride in all fronts due to the special features of the Constitution.
