It was a gathering of students, who studied at the school over three decades ago and its star attraction was the BJP chief's wife Sonal Shah, who was delighted to meet her old classmates after a long time.
"I felt very happy meeting all my old school friends. I felt delighted after meeting all of them after 34 years. The bonds have been renewed afresh," Sonal said, adding, "I feel proud of my school and teachers."
Asked whether she found any changes in Kolhapur now as compared to the old days, she said, "Nothing much has changed. It's the same old town I remember."
On her schedule in Kolhapur, she said, "I will be indulging in a bit of shopping. Will buy the famous gur (jaggery) and Kolhapuri chappals."

She pointed out to her best friend Chandrakanta Mangilal Jain, saying, "We used to sit on these benches."
Sonal said she plans a treat of 'masala bhaat' and 'misal' for her husband. "I make a very nice misal."
"I am sure she will do something for the school, for Kolhapur and also for Maharashstra," the teacher said.
