Amit Shah to meet party workers in Rajasthan tomorrow

On his maiden visit to Rajasthan, BJP President Amit Shah will meet party workers tomorrow as part of the party's membership drive.

Shah is scheduled to address a 'Maha-karyakarta Sammelan' at Amroodon ka Bag here.

"A huge gathering of the party leaders and workers will welcome him at the Airport. After the grand welcome, he will be escorted to the party office by a group of motorcyclists," a party leader said.

Over 25,000 workers, leaders, party functionaries of district level, elected representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions, civic bodies, MLAs, MPs and state unit heads would participate in the sammelan, state BJP President Ashok Parnami had said on Wednesday.

A special auditorium was being erected as the main venue in the open ground of Amroodon-ka-bagh in the state capital for the programme, Parnami said.

While, the BJP president has visited a number of states after assuming the post last year, this is his first visit to Rajasthan.
